What is FOS Automations?

FOS Automations is a specialized Systems Integration agency based in Chennai, India. We do not sell piecemeal software, basic bots, or isolated automations. We build complete, end-to-end digital operating systems that replace human data-entry bottlenecks and run your backend operations 24/7.

We partner with traditional, high-volume B2B companies from pharmaceutical distributors to travel agencies to transform messy, manual processes into secure, automated pipelines. Our mission is simple: we engineer the bulletproof infrastructure that allows business owners to scale their revenue without constantly increasing their headcount.

How did FOS Automations Start?

FOS Automations was founded by Tom Joe James and Sahana Srinivasan. We established the company alongside our college peers from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. FOS Automations is an entirely bootstrapped and self-funded agency.

Our Methodology

We built our technical foundation on rigorous, self-directed learning. Our team dedicated their time outside of standard coursework to researching, testing, and applying advanced integration technologies until we could reliably engineer industry-standard automation systems.

Team Structure

We operate with a clear division between system architecture, engineering, and growth:

Engineering & Development: Led by Sahana Srinivasan, our technical team—Ramakrishnaa R, Adwaith Balakrishnan, Rhohit S, and Fazil RM—designs and builds automated workflows to handle complex operational scenarios.
Growth & Operations: Danish M and Tejasvi Karthikeyan manage our market positioning, client acquisition, and online presence.

Proven Execution: The Slate App

To validate our technical capabilities and team cohesion before taking on enterprise clients, we designed, developed, and launched Slate, a mobile application built specifically for IITM BS students. Successfully publishing Slate to the Google Play Store established our baseline for shipping functional, production-ready software as a unified team.

Why We Started

FOS Automations was founded on a singular, defining premise: to prove that integrating targeted automations directly into a company’s workflow dramatically increases its baseline productivity.

We observed that many traditional businesses possessed the capital and the market demand to scale, but were bottlenecked by manual data entry and disjointed software. We started FOS to demonstrate that a business does not need to constantly hire more administrative staff to handle growth. By implementing smart, automated systems to connect existing software, we proved that companies could reclaim thousands of hours of lost time, allowing their sales and operations teams to focus entirely on high-value, revenue-generating tasks.

Today, that core philosophy that technology should handle the repetitive work so humans can handle the growth remains the foundation of every custom digital infrastructure we build.
